Charity work is a major passion of Dermot's and is something close to his heart. Here is a list of charity initiatives that we have been involved with;

Native Woodland Trust, 2020

At Christmas 2010, in place of any gifts or cards, we made a contribution to the Native Woodland Trust who are dedicated to the preservation of Ireland’s remaining ancient woodlands and restoration of Ireland’s original climax ecosystem.

Dirty Old Towns Charleville, 2011

Part of an RTE television series to clean up towns around Ireland. We managed the project including, budget, material and crews of volunteers.

Rte Cork, The Garden Gang
Temple St Children's Hospital, 2010

We project managed the build of an outdoor garden/play area for one of Ireland’s leading children hospitals. We working with staff to implement a therapeutic/sensory garden suitable for children’s needs. Due to difficult access, the Garden was entirely built off site onto a steel frame and lifted into place with a crane, the entire process was televised.

Niall Mellon Township Trust
2007, 2008 & 2009

We designed and project managed, building community gardens with playgrounds, sports pitches and vegetable gardens in improvised townships in Cape Town, South Africa.
