The site required complete rejuvenation and earth moving, to include installation of a new planting scheme, pathways, terraces and assorted garden features throughout the site. The construction required a large reinforced concrete retaining wall of up to 6 meters high, using 1500m2‚ of concrete, 650m2 of natural stone walling, 1400m2 of natural stone tiles and steps, 22,000 plants and large specimen trees. The perimeter and site required new boundaries and fencing, irrigation and lighting throughout. Over 20 trades men and skilled labourers were contracted for 14 months to complete the project.
